The Ashra Mubashra are the esteemed companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (محمد) who received the glad tidings during their lifetimes that they would be granted paradise. These blessed individuals, numbering ten in total, hold the distinction of being known as the Ashra Mubashra.

The Ashra Mubashra, revered for their piety and devotion, serve as a timeless reminder of the noble virtues cherished in Islam.

Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Abu Bakar Ibn Uthman رضي الله عنه was the 1st caliph of Muslims. He was the close companion and father-in-law of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was a wealthy businessman. After accepting Islam, He contribute His whole wealth for the benefit of Muslims. Hazrat Abu Bakar Sadique رضي الله عنه migrated with the Rasoolullah from Makkah to Madina.

He always stood with the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه fought important battles for the Muslims, like the Battle of Badar and the battle of Uhud.

He works as the first caliph of Muslims for 27 months only. Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه was died due to prolonged fever. He sent a message to Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه in his last days that Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه will give Him Ghusal. At the death of Hazrat Abu Bakar Sadiq رضي الله عنه, Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه gave Him ghusal. Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه (عمر الفاروق) offered His funeral Prayer, and He was buried beside the grave of the Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ.

Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه

According to the English calendar, Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه died on 23 August. Muslims selected Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه as their second caliph on the same day. Hazrat Umer Ibn Khattab رضي الله عنه is considered the most powerful and successful caliph of Muslims History.

Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه was very brave. His bravery was famous in the entire Arab. Muslims offered prayer secretly from the nonbelievers of Islam. When Hazrat Umer رضي الله عنه accepted Islam, Muslims offered their prayers openly in Kabbah.

Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ ordered the Muslims to migrate to Madina. Muslims migrated in the darkness of night. Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه announced that anybody who wants to make his lady widow and children orphan could follow me. He started the journey from the Makkah in daylight.

He had a successful era as caliph. He introduced many new departments and reforms in the Muslim community.

After His death, He was buried beside the grave of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Usman Ibn Affan رضي الله عنه was the third caliph of Muslims. He was born in Makkah. Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه was married to two daughters of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, Hazrat Ruqayyah رضي الله عنه and Hazrat Umme Khulthum رضي الله عنه.

Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه convinced Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه to embrace Islam. He embraced Islam and became one of the early followers of Islam.

Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه sold His shield to Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه at 500 dirhams to fulfill the wedding expenses. From those 500 dirhams, Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه paid 400 dirhams to Hazrat Fatima رضي الله عنه (فاطمة) as Mehr. Later on, Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه returned the shield to Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه as His wedding gift.

Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه has the honor that He prepared a standard version of the Holy Quran. He ordered the Muslims to Follow that Quran.

Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه (علي بن أبي طالب)

Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه was the cousin of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه was born in Kabbah. Kabbah is the holiest place for Muslims. He embraced Islam at the age of 10 years old.

Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه was married to the youngest daughter of Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ, Hazrat Fatima رضي الله عنه.

Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه endangered His life on the night of Rasoolullah’s ﷺ migration. He slept at the bed of the Holy Prophet ﷺ to make His ﷺ migration successful. In the early morning, He succeeded in saving His life from the Quresh e Makkah.

Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه was the 4th caliph of Sunni Muslims and the 1st caliph of Shia Muslims. He fought many battles with bravery for the Muslims. Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه conquered the khyber fort for the prosperity of Islam.

On 19th Ramzan, Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه was offering Fajar prayer in Kufa mosque. A person attacked Him with a sword that had poison on it. He remained ill for two days and then died on 21st Ramzan. The shrine of Hazrat Ali رضي الله عنه is in the city of Najaf, Iraq.

Hazrat Zubair Ibn Al-Awam رضي الله عنه (الزبير بن العوام)

Hazrat Zubair Ibn Al-Awam رضي الله عنه was the cousin and close companion of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He was one of the five individuals who accepted Islam and stood with the Holy Prophet ﷺ. Hazrat Zubair رضي الله عنه fought many battles for the Muslims, including the battle of Badr, the Battle of Uhud, the battle of Trench, and the battle of Khyber. He always used to wear a yellow turban in battles.

He died in the battle of the camel. He was offering prayer when Amir Ibn Jhurmuz attacked Him, and He could not survive that attack.

Hazrat Talha رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Talha رضي الله عنه was one of the companions of the Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ. Hazrat Abu Bakar Sadiq رضي الله عنه convinced Him to embrace Islam. He was one of the eight early Muslims.

He fought the famous battles, battle of Uhud and battle of Camel. Hazrat Talha ibn Ubaydullah رضي الله عنه got an arrow injury in the battle of the camel. His blood did not stop, and He died due to that injury. His tomb is in Basra, Iraq.

Hazrat Abdul Rehman (عبد الرحمن بن عوف) bin Auf رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Abdul Rehman رضي الله عنه embraced Islam after a discussion with Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه. He fought the battle of Badr and the Battle of Uhud. Hazrat Abdul Reham رضي الله عنه had great importance in the era of the first two caliphs. He helped the Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه in his governance. He was a member of shura in the era of Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه.

Hazrat Abdul Rehman Bin Awf رضي الله عنه died in Madina. His grave is in Jannah Al Baqi.

Hazrat Abu Ubaidah (أبو عبيدة) Ibn Al Jarah رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Abu Ubaidah رضي الله عنه embraced Islam One day after the Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه. He fought many battles, battle of Badr, Battle of Uhud, the conquest of Makkah, battle of Hunayn, and the battle of Tabuk. Hazrat Abu Ubaidah رضي الله عنه remained with the Hazrat Abu Bakar رضي الله عنه during His caliph era. Hazrat Umer رضي الله عنه appointed Him as the supreme leader of the army in His era.

Hazrat Abu Ubaidah رضي الله عنه fought the battle of Emesa, the battle of Yarmuk, and the battle of Syria under the caliph Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه. Hazrat Abu Ubaidah Al Jarah رضي الله عنه was died in 639 CE. His grave is in Jabiya.

Hazrat Saad Ibn Abi Waqas رضي الله عنه (سعد بن أبي وقاص)

He embraced Islam at the age of seventeen. He was the seventh person who embraced Islam. Hazrat Saad رضي الله عنه fought the battle of Badr and the battle of Uhud. He was the member who built the Kufa city. Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه appointed Him as the governor of Kufa and Najaf. Hazrat Umer Farooq رضي الله عنه nominate six-person for the third caliph post; Hazrat Saad’s رضي الله عنه name was in those six persons.

Hazrat Usman رضي الله عنه appointed Hazrat Saad رضي الله عنه as the governor of Kufa for the second time. Hazrat Saad رضي الله عنه has the credit that He preached Islam in China. He also built a mosque in the city of Bangladesh with the name Abu Akkas Mosque.

Hazrat Saad رضي الله عنه died at the age of eighty years.

Hazrat Saeed ibn-e-Zaid رضي الله عنه

Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid رضي الله عنه (سعيد بن زيد) is among the early acceptors of Islam. During the caliph of Hazrat Abu Muawiya رضي الله عنه, Hazrat Saeed bin Zaid رضي الله عنه was appointed as the caliph of Kufa. Hazrat Saeed Bin Zaid رضي الله عنه died in Kufa. His body was brought back to Madina.
